CHIROPRACTIC ORTHOPEDICS

Who..

The Chiropractic Orthopedists are Doctors of Chiropractic who are licensed to practice in all 50 states, Canada and many other countries in the world. The Doctor of Chiropractic has specialized training in corrective adjustment of the spine and other joints of the body and the examination and treatment of its soft tissue structures. The Doctor of Chiropractic uses essentially natural methods in the care of the body.

What..

The Chiropractic Orthopedist has extensive advanced clinical training in this specialty spanning several years beyond the four year course leading to the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic.

The Chiropractic Orthopedist must pass comprehensive examinations and, when carried to the highest academic level, is certified by our national certification board as a Diplomate of The American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists.

Why..

The Chiropractic Orthopedist has specialized training in examining, diagnosing, and treating conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and their related nerve structures.

The Chiropractic Orthopedist utilizes all the diagnostic tools such as x-ray and laboratory procedures to reach a definitive diagnosis.

The Chiropractic Orthopedist utilizes the specific use of physical therapy, nutrition, joint supports, corrective devices, exercises and home therapy regimens for patient care.

If needed, the Chiropractic Orthopedist refers patients to specialists in allied health care fields, including surgery.

The Chiropractic Orthopedist has chosen to limit practice to the neuro-musculo-skeletal structures and remains abreast of the latest research and developments in this field through continuing education.

Why..

The Chiropractic Orthopedist is used by the general practitioner for consultation, by the legal and insurance professions for evaluation and treatment of patients, and the courts for the giving of expert testimony. Patients who suffer from conditions which have not responded to favorably to previous treatment may seek a doctor with specialized training in conservative methods. That doctor is the Chiropractic Orthopedist.
