treatment is a collaborative effort, we work most

mutually agree upon and understand the nature of
the treatment experience. This set of agreements
is designed for you to have informed consent
regarding your treatment.
The
primary treatment used by Doctors of Chiropractic
is the spinal adjustment or manipulation. Dr. John
Hayes will use this procedure to treat you.
he may also use other modalities such as
Neuromuscular Reeducation, rehab exercise, hot and
cold packs, EMS and ultrasound.
Services Rendered:
Chiropractic
treatment in this office is restricted to the
specialty of Chiropractic Orthopedics, the care of
the bones and joints, spine, arms, and legs, as
well as related structures - nerves ligaments,
tendons and muscles, conditions such as sprains,
strains, disc problems, sciatica, headaches, etc.
Treatment is primarily with spinal manipulative
therapy and
Neuromuscular Reeducation. Other medical problems
may be managed by your family physician. When
appropriate, we will assist you in finding a
reputable and capable physician outside of our
field.
The Chiropractic
Orthopedic Center is located at 808 Stevens Avenue in
Portland, Maine. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 6pm.
Most major
medical insurances accepted including: HMO's,
Medicare, MaineCare, and Workers Compensation.
